The Screenwriter's Program ended in January 2013.
Depending on the material, the following script advisors are available (subject to change):
• Susan Schulte, Head of the BKM Drama Department (recently Requiem, Sehnsucht (Longing), Schattenkinder, Everyone Else)
• Petra Lüschow, Screenwriter and Dramaturge (work includes The Murder Farm, Going Private, Der Bulle von Tölz)
• Georg Heinzen, Screenwriter and Dramaturge (work includes Gran Paradiso, SK Kölsch, Post Mortem, Das Beste Jahr meines Lebens, Red Beach [novel])
• Cooky Ziesche, Screenwriter and Producer (work includes Henri IV, Cloud 9)
The final selection of advisors will be determined according to the requirements of the genres to be developed.
The ifs offers three workshops on genre that are offered to the public.
Based on current cinema and TV films as well as talks and discussions with their filmmakers, we reflect on dramaturgic genre models and expand our understanding (through the experiences of our filmmakers).
If requested, screenwriters of the further education program can also participate in these workshops for a reduced fee.
