Akhil Nelson was born and brought up in the Southern part of India called Kerala. From 2010 to 2012 he went to school at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan Vidya Mandhir school, Irinjalakuda. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia at Mahatma Gandhi University, India in 2015. Afterwards he went to pursue a postgraduate diploma in animation from ICAT Design and Media College, Bangalore.

From 2017 to 2018, Akhil worked as a junior 3D artist in ‘3D object modelling’ at the company 3D crystal Arts, Thrissur, Kerala.
