FRANZISKA KOCH grew up in Korb, a small village in the Westerwald region. Her father gave her first insights into photography. After graduating from high school, she completed an internship with a photographer in Cologne. Her interest shifted from photography to film and a passion for camera technology and image design. Studied film production for three semesters at the SAE Institute in Cologne, graduating with a diploma. During her studies, she worked as a cable assistant at Westdeutscher Rundfunk, supporting camera operators during live broadcasts. Worked on film productions during her studies and beyond, and realised her own projects. Studying at ifs since 2025.
