Vita

Marcel Trauzenberg was born in 1991 in Cologne, Germany. He grew up drawing daily and started to further dip into illustrations and graphical compositions while doing his A Level’s, expanding his design- and programme-related knowledge on an everyday basis. After graduating from school in 2011 he started working as an Art Director in a small digital agency, only to then start his Bachelor’s degree in „Media Design, B.A.“ back in 2013. After graduating in 2016 he got hired as the Creative Lead in the BMBF-funded research project GLARS where he was responsible for every design-related decision and realisation. After leaving the research project in 2018 Marcel Trauzenberg started working as a freelance Interdisciplinary designer for diverse agencies and well-known clients (Pfizer, Fresenius et al.). His skillset ranges from analogue and digital illustrations, Motion Design, 3D-Modelling to creating UX Concepts and Screendesigns for large-scale web projects. Since September 2018 he is lecturing the seminars „Interfacedesign“, „Multimedia on Mobile Devices“ and „Contemporary Illustration“ at the Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln gGmbH, and is now looking forward to further expand his skillset by graduating in the master’s programme „3D Animation for Film & Games“.
