Absurd comedy in space and in urban everyday life – ifs films in the competition of the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis

Comedy in different facets determines the two films of the ifs internationale filmschule köln, which will be shown at the upcoming Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis in Saarbrücken (22.-28.01.2018. 
The comedy »Royal Affairs« (Director: Jade Li, Author: Claire Macdonald, Production: Nikolaas Meinshausen, Camera: Christophe Poulles, Editing: Antonia-Marleen Klein, VFX: Christoph Willerscheidt) celebrates its festival premiere in the Short Film Competition and competes there with 19 other films.
The short film »Everyday« (Director/Author: Lutz Rödig, Production: Christopher Albrodt, Camera: Sabine Stephan, Editing: Jeannine Compère, VFX: Mick Mahler) from the 4th semester runs in the competition Mittellanger Film – together with 13 other short films. In both categories, both a jury prize and an audience prize will be awarded, each endowed with 5,000 euros.
