Filmfest München (28.06.-07.07.) pays homage to filmmaker and ifs professor Philipp Gröning with a tribute – and draws a bow from his current film »Mein Bruder heißt Robert und ist ein Idiot« to his early cinematic work.
The film »Mackie Messer – Brechts Dreigroschenfilm« (R: Joachim A. Lang) opens the festival as a world premiere. David Slama, ifs professor, is responsible for the camera in this top-class production.
ifs professor Dominik Graf is also a guest with a film: »Hanne« is shown in the New German Television series.
AThe work of ifs alumni can also be followed at Filmfest München: Jakob Weydemann and Till Drenbach have been nominated for the New German Cinema Award for their current productions. Max Eipp, Stephan Lacant and Cora Pratz are also showing their latest works.
