Vita

To become an actor, Christof Düro founded his own acting school, the Theaterwerkstatt Mainz right away.
Numerous engagements took him through the German theatre landscape for many years, including at the Theater der Stadt Heidelberg, the Maxim Gorki Theater and the Theater Tribüne in Berlin.
He also appears regularly in film and television. He has worked with directors such as Oskar Röhler, Vivian Naefe, Markus Imboden, Anno Saul, Alain Gsponer, Dennis Gansel and Lars Kraume.
In 2017 he produced and directed the feature film "All in One Boat".
For many years he has been training young people with great verve in areas such as pitch/presentation, improvisation, spatial storytelling and creative sundries. He has now also been doing this at the ifs since 2010.
Social engagement is very important to him, so he often works in workshops with people with impairments, hospitals or other social organisations. In 2018, he founded the Colourful Thinking association together with a few friends. This is a forum for creative and inclusive projects with all kinds of people. His dream would be an IT workshop with people suffering from dementia.
He is a gourmet in all areas and prefers colourful to monochrome.
