The monotonous mass flows through the streets soaked in fog. Against the stream moves the bright red light, carried by an individual to whom this world presents itself as monstrous. The only way to find meaning is to be different. But if everyone is different, aren't they all the same again? How does one find meaning?
The realization of infinity on both the macro and micro level reveals both mysterious beauty of the big picture and the sweet suffering of human beings in their insignificance. The only thing that remains is nothingness. That is Yûgen.
