Shortfilm – Interactive

Vision Statement:
Anton, a 40s Eastern European immigrant had a frustrating day, he got the news of being fired by the cleaning company. He encountered Tsui, an Asian-looking guy with 2 suitcases looking for his wallet when Anton was peeing in the park. Anton saved Tsui from the chavs and they got to know each other. Tsui heard the news on the car radio about a Russian satellite going to fall into the Earth's atmosphere tonight, and they had a magical journey of chasing the satellite on the midnight river bank in London.

Kosmos Project MA Digital Narratives

Kosmos is an interactive and realistic short film about a one-night encounter between two underclass immigrants with different cultural backgrounds. The duration is circa 15mins 30secs, depending on which path the audience chooses, and the dialogues are English and Cantonese. The film has 9 interactions. In the film, the audience will witness the journey of the two main characters by going through different choices to choose their adventure. While showing their life status and how it can be projected as the situation of immigrants today, especially under covid times.

Kosmos Project MA Digital Narratives

The film is shown on web-based platform for interactive videos. And it’s more convenient for audiences from different continents to have such watching experience. The film will be online after walking through all the film festival process.
