I burn for people and their stories. For life, which reveals the absurdity, the complexity, the abysses and the poetry of this world. Above all, it is people struggling for participation whose stories I want to bring to the screen. Film is representation. Film makes visible. Therein lies power. And for me, responsibility - as well as a great opportunity. I want to make the power with which I burn for the cause tangible in film. In my eyes, this also includes participatory collaboration, in which everyone in the team can contribute and develop their own strengths and ideas in the spirit of the project. In this way, the potential of our film is fully exploited. Film can foster empathy, reveal new perspectives and set dialogues in motion - and this is especially true in the documentary and children's film sector. That's exactly the fire that burns inside me.
