I like to watch us. Us monkeys on this finite planet. How we run into each other, bounce off each other, how we use and waste our time. I watch how each destiny is full of life and how this life turns and surprises, how it hides in a rut and then blossoms in a gallop. I like to watch all this. Sometimes I think I see the core of it all - the truth about us. I want to write it down! I try to grasp it, knowing full well that it can never be captured. But that moves me to write, to form a story. Yes, of course, with acts one, two and three. There are turning points, lows and highs, too. The story should delight and be fun, a good experience. Sell tickets and fill auditoriums. But maybe it also brings some of the truth with it, projects it on the screen or lights up the screens with it.
