FERNANDO ALVAREZ is a Colombian TV director. For the Colombian Ministerio de Tecnologías de la Información, he collaborated in various projects on the traditions, culture and science of his country, including Expreso Colombia, a series format of documentaries illustrating the cultural richness of the country. Internationally, he developed innovative media formats for the Universidad Internacional de Andalucía and Deutsche Welle.

What happens when a man becomes his own dream image? Is he then really still himself? That's one of the questions I wanted to explore in »Lucyfera«. And this in a world of drag queens and transvestites, in an underground party scene with links to politics and journalism, interspersed with corrupt characters.
