Why do I make films? Because of the stories, of course, why else? I grew up without a TV and always felt at home in books as a child. And just as literature has its own way of captivating readers, there's no feeling quite like sitting in a movie theater while the lights slowly go out around you, forgetting everything around you for the moment of a movie's length and becoming part of another world. Even as a child I wrote short stories and drew flipbooks, now I create film worlds. Because the special thing about stories is: inventing them is just as beautiful as experiencing them.
