In many films, we see worlds that go beyond what we see in normal life. That has always fascinated me. When I was a teenager and watched science fiction movies like Avatar or Star Wars, I was as absorbed in the making-ofs as I was in the actual film. The possibilities of 3D animation just seemed endless. For me, a big tech geek with a strong artistic streak, this sealed the career path. VFX and 3D animation are the ultimate tools for me as a visual designer to translate emotions and stories into images and make other people empathize. During my studies I have been able to develop the skills necessary for this far, and I look forward to being able to use them in the future as part of this industry.
