JAKOB WISSMEIER born in Cologne in 1997 and grew up in the Nippes district. After graduating from high school in 2016, started training directly as a digital & print media clerk at the DuMont media company. After successfully completing his training, he worked for one and a half years as a marketing manager in central marketing at DuMont. Among other things, he managed advertising campaigns and events for the newspaper titles Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, EXPRESS, Kölnische Rundschau, and various radio stations, such as Radio Bonn/Rhein-Sieg. Out of the desire to develop himself further, two semesters of media and cultural studies followed at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. At the same time, he worked on various advertising film productions and TV reports. But the dream of producing films never left him and led him to ifs. This enthusiasm for film arose early in his school years through various short film projects together with his friends. Studying at the ifs since 2021.
