Timo grew up in the South of Germany and discovered his passion for 3D and film as a teenager. He, therefore, gained his first working experiences at »Faceshift AG«, a face motion capture company, and later moved on to the TV company »Your Family Entertainment AG«. At the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg he finished his Bachelor’s degree in »Media and Information Technology«. Ever since he has worked as 3D Digital Artist at »LAVAlabs Moving Images« in Düsseldorf for Visual Effects, Full CG, Virtual- and Augmented Reality productions. His special focus are crowd simulations, digital humans, virtual production and 3D character. The most recent projects in his portfolio are “Wild Republic”, “Oktoberfest: Beer & Blood” and “7500”.
In 2021 he completed his Master’s degree on “Developing Digital Humans – A Workflow for 3D Avatar Design and Analysis of Common Creation Methods”. After graduating, he continued working at »LAVAlabs Moving Images« and started as a lecturer for “3D Character Production” at »Hochschule Düsseldorf«.
