Jan Zinn

He was born in 1988 and grew up in Frankfurt am Main. Has always photographed, drawn and examined the effect of pictures. Became interested in film through an afternoon offer for schoolchildren with an independent institution of the city of Frankfurt. He did an internship in an advertising agency and an animated film studio, did various volunteer work in media work with young people, as well as his own film projects with friends. From 2011, he studied communication design in Wiesbaden, and at the same time he was constantly involved in many film projects: as storyboard draftsman, prop master and art director. He came to set design in 2015 through a six-month internship at “frix3D”, set designer from Frankfurt am Main. Afterwards, he worked on projects at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy, most recently for ZDF and cinema film production.
Studies production design at the ifs internationale filmschule köln since 2017.
