In the following, the current students of the Master’s programs »Serial Storytelling«, »Digital Narratives« and »3D Animation for Film & Games« as well as the Bachelor’s program »Film« introduce themselves.
Student Council
vision
In order to maintain strong interpersonal and creative relationships between faculty and students, and to consequently represent the student’s ambitions and aspirations regarding their own student life and professional development, the ifs´ student body aims to build bridges among classmates, departments, staff and administrators in a proactive and constructive manner.
Through yearly elections, the students choose freely among their fellow classmates to be represented both in their classrooms and among other learning areas. Its sole endeavor is to grant every student a sense of community and support from their peers and solid assistance amid obstacles and complications during their studies. It also hopes to encourage alumni to pursue improvements, solutions, and new undertakings to ensure future ifs generations will enjoy a supportive eco-friendly and more comfortable vicinity.
how it works
Students from the Bachelor Specializations (scriptwriting, directing, creative producing, director of photography, editing picture & sound, VFX & animation, production design) and the Master Programs (serial storytelling and digital narratives) elect two representatives among their classmates (one representative and one deputy) to serve as delegates. From all the department´s representatives, two are chosen as Heads of the Student Council to act as delegates before the ifs and are invited to participate in the regular curriculum meetings where the ifs team analyses the previous semester and structures the upcoming lecture period.
