Project from the 3rd semester of the ifs internationale filmschule köln
Germany 2018 | 19 Min. | Documentary

More than 40 years ago, Mboro was commissioned to find the head of the Tanzanian resistance fighter Mangi Meli in Germany and bring it back to his homeland. Mangi Meli was hanged in 1900 by German colonialists and his head shipped to Germany for racial research. From Berlin, Mboro began a decades-long and so far unsuccessful search in a network of ethnological collections and institutions.
