Ritual animal sacrifices have been taking place in the Mayan world for centuries. The idea is simple: by sacrificing they make the stone god of the village cry – and so it rains. Now are the times of drought, and the sacrifices work like clockwork in every village. In every village?

Not quite, because in one of the small villages two children decide to save the last sacrificial goat – and without a goat no rain, isn’t it? While the children hide the goat from the angry shaman, the locals have to improvise and prove their acting talent.
