„The Kids Turned Out Fine“ follows Generation Y characters as they chase the desire for radical self-realization. Over the course of a weekend, the loosely connected episodes tell the stories of …
… two rival amateur rap groups whose master plan is to make flashy music videos to ensure a promising career.
… a taciturn, lonely model who produces his fashion collection with iron toughness.
… two best friends who pretend to be climate activists in order to make money, which they in turn spend on irrelevant activities to somehow keep themselves happy.
… an influencer who gets lost in his success-oriented thinking.
… and three old men who philosophize about conspiracy theories in a backyard.
Every night they hear a loud banging in the streets of Cologne – the government, the upper elite must have their fingers in the pie. Are they threatened by the imminent apocalypse?
