Alicia (15) lives in an orphanage and longs for recognition. One day a new resident sits at the dinner table. Alicia notices that this boy is quite attentive and somehow different. A flirtation begins, but then it turns out that Mika isn’t a boy at all, but her new roommate Michaela. Whoever I am happy is a short film about the desire for recognition of one’s own decisions, no matter how crazy they sound, and about the courage to stand up to them – against all odds.
