Vita

ANNA ULLMANN, grew up in a small village in southern Germany, where not much ever happens. She began writing her own fantastical stories and dreaming up her own worlds as a child. Her
passion for film and writing led her to study film studies in Mainz, followed by degrees in communications and American studies. In 2019, she published her debut novel, »Yamamachi – Das Geheimnis der Senshi«, and in 2023, she was a finalist in the Scriptapalooza Shorts Screenplay Contest after studying screenwriting and film history under Oscar winner Kevin Willmott at the University of Kansas. After working in media research at ZDF for several years, Anna is now returning to her passion for storytelling and writing. She enjoys films and series across a wide range of genres and likes to experiment with styles and conventions. Outside of film and writing, she sings in choirs and is passionate about everything Japanese – her great love will always be »Detective Conan«. Studying at the ifs since 2025
