The ifs Student Education Fund Advisory Board was founded as a body of the The Friends of the ifs Society. The advisory board consists of students of the ifs who make recommendations for loans to the The Friends of the ifs Society.
Loans
In order to finance the tuition fees and, if necessary, to support living expenses, it is possible to apply for interest-free loans from the Friends of the ifs Society from the first semester onwards. The approval of loans depends on the financial situation of the applicants and the available funds. Repayment of the loans begins 6 months after completion of studies.
Information and submission deadlines are communicated on the internal communication platform SPACES.
Scholarships
For all degree programmes at the ifs (except the MA 3D Animation for Film and Games), the Friends of the ifs Society awards scholarships to particularly talented students who are in need of financial support. The scholarships cover the tuition fees. After successfully passing the entrance examination, interested students can apply for both a scholarship and a loan.
Information and submission deadlines are communicated on the internal communication platform SPACES.
