It's not just intergalactic battles, magical creatures, and apocalypse depictions in movies that arise from the combination of visual effects and 3D animation. Visual artists expand the means of expression of all kinds of formats from feature films to animated films or documentaries and are highly sought-after professionals.
The specialisation in “VFX & Animation” in the Bachelor’s Programme Film offers a wide-ranging course of study – from professional effects creation for feature films to the complete design of complex 3D animated films. Students learn not only technical and design fundamentals, but also cinematic storytelling.
Students have their own technically supervised workstation with a powerful computer with industry-relevant programmes, a render farm and common workflows at their disposal.
Top-class professors and guest lecturers from the industry guarantee professional relevance through their up-to-date knowledge.
Since the Bachelor's Programme Film is a German-language programme, please find all further information on the German-language page.
