With 21 years of experience in the animation industry, Mahee started as a 3D generalist working on Emmy award winning films and TV shows. In 2006, he began directing commercials, interstitials and series on a regular basis. In 2011, he founded his company, Digitalclay to create animated content in 2D, 3D and stop motion. His short films have been screened at Anima Mundi (Brazil) and ITFS (Stuttgart) picking up ASIFA, ABBY, FICCI and Cannes Lions along the way. Currently, he also teaches animation at DiceVFS, the India chapter of Vancouver Film School. Although, he began his career with a Bachelor’s in Drawing and Painting from Sir JJ School of Art, his focus now is interactive storytelling. With a Master’s “3D Animation for Film & Games” he intends to take his interdisciplinary career to the next level.
