MARINA LOHMÜLLER, born in 1994 and raised in Ostwestfalen-Lippe (North Rhine-Westphalia), always knew she wanted to “do something with media.” After spending 1.5 years in the USA, including a Filmmaking course at American River College in Sacramento, she studied Media Management & Innovation at FHM Bielefeld. In 2018, she began her career at Endemol Shine Group – where, even as an intern, she quickly took on extensive editorial responsibilities and worked as a shooting editor right in the middle of prime-time docu-reality productions. After several years in the world of major shows, she moved to Cheerio Entertainment in 2022, further deepening her passion for show, docu- and adventure-reality formats. Today, she is the editorial director of development at Brainpool TV. She develops entertainment formats and deals with changes in the national and international TV and streaming markets. Since 2025, she has been studying part-time at ifs.
