European Showrunner Think Tank: Showrunning in Europe – Spotlight on: Fanny Herrero

Join us for the next edition of the European Showrunner Think Tank live at TV Drama Vision in Gothenburg! This year we are thrilled to welcome the acclaimed French writer and showrunner Fanny Herrero.
Known for her sharp wit and storytelling brilliance, she is the creative force behind some of France’s most celebrated series, including the international success »Call My Agent! (Dix Pour Cent)«, which won the International Emmy Award for Best Comedy Series in 2021 among other awards. She is also the creator of Netflix’s »Standing Up (Drôle)«, a dramedy that follows the intertwined lives of four young stand-up comedians in Paris.
Most recently, she brought her storytelling expertise to the Opening Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in collaboration with its Artistic Director Thomas Jolly.
In this year’s panel, Herrero will dive into the art of showrunning, reflecting on her unique approach and how it has evolved throughout her career. From navigating creative challenges to shaping collaborative environments and maintaining her signature storytelling voice, she will offer an insider’s perspective on the dynamic and demanding role of a showrunner.
