FilmEU Talks: Diversity in Film & Media

Round table discussion about the MOOC (Massive Open Online Course)

Information

On May 24 the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) “Diversity in Film & Media” created through the future.film.education research project will be launched.
To publicize this, within a FilmEU Talk, representatives from all three participating institutions will meet in a round table discussion about the MOOC and the need for raising awareness on gender & diversity issues at film & media institutions. Topics of the discussion will include gender & diversity issues, race, disability, queerness, critical pedagogy, Romani representation and more. The link for the MOOC will be available on the future.film.education website and all are invited to share it with students and other interested parties.

The future.film.education international research project lead by the ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln (Germany), in co-operation with MOME (Hungary) and Lusofona (Portugal) - created free tools for implementing online teaching as well as promoting gender & diversity at film schools.
