A packed cinema for film editing! Yesterday, our ifs encounter: Edimotion took place and editor Gesa Jäger brought along one of her favorite films: the classic »Jurassic Park« by Steven Spielberg. The subsequent discussion with Dietmar Kraus (Edimotion) touched on topics such as why the thrill of »Jurassic Park« still resonates so strongly today, why editing and continuity errors are often overlooked (and forgiven) in favor of suspense, and how surprisingly modern the film's female characters are.
