Andri Óttarsson

Andri Óttarsson is a seasoned professional in the Icelandic television industry. He first gained recognition as the co-creator and writer of the Netflix original series »Case«. Later, he co-founded the production company Glassriver, where he now serves as Content Director.
Andri has contributed to several projects, including »Black Sands«, and has executive produced more than 20 television series. In recent years, he has been involved in a significant share of Iceland’s scripted television output. Before transitioning into the creative field, Andri held a range of roles, including serving as a police officer, criminal attorney, and Secretary General for one of Iceland’s major political parties.
