ANTONIA GROBBEL, born in 1998 in Bad Fredeburg and raised in Eslohe, discovered her creative side early on through playing the saxophone and drawing. After graduating from high school, she first worked in order to spend several months in Australia. Shaped by her interest in craftsmanship, which she had already developed on her parents’ farm, she completed an internship and subsequently an apprenticeship as a carpenter. She then moved to Düsseldorf to study Interior Design. During her studies, she discovered her passion for set design through a part-time job with stylist and set designer Rolf Buck. She went on to work
as a freelance set designer and production designer on various projects in music, fashion, and television. In addition, she worked as a PA and AL at a Cologne-based film production company, where she organized and supervised film and series shoots, and also gained experience in a stage construction workshop. Studying at the ifs since 2025.
