Christian Wehrlin is a Swiss screenwriter and creator, born in 1983 in Bern. He studied social anthropology and international law before working in film production for over a decade. He has written for »Tschugger«, »Maloney«, »Unsere kleine Botschaft«, and »Blind«, an adaptation of a Spiegel bestseller due to be released in autumn 2026. He is currently developing two international co-productions as creator and head writer: »Gold«, a thriller about the global gold trade set across West Africa, Dubai, and Europe, which won the Co-Pro Pitching Award at EFM Berlinale 2026 and was selected for Series Mania, and »O Suizo«, a Spanish-Swiss co-production set in Galicia and Switzerland.
