ELINA GAKOU-GOMBA was born in Paris, where she also grew up. After a Master's degree in Modern Literature, she studied screenwriting in San Francisco (SFSU) and worked for Zeugma Films, Paris, in documentary distribution. Elina co-wrote a short film (»Cliché Brûlé« by Maxence Voiseux, premiered in 2015) and collaborated in the development of an international series project with Pandora Film. She is receiving funding from HEAR in Strasbourg for a radio mini-series directed by sound designer Marine Angé. Currently, Elina is also developing an international series format with Network Movie.

Writing in a team during the master's programme showed me that this is exactly how I want to work. I strongly believe in the future of European series, and my personal ambition is to bridge the gap between arthouse and mainstream. With gripping stories, innovative drama and characters you won't soon forget.
