Her graduation film at the German Film and Television Academy and first feature film STAUB AUF UNSEREN HERZEN won, among others, the "Förderpreis Neues Deutsches Kino for best director and best production" at Filmfest München 2012 and the First Steps Award.
Her current feature film WANN KOMMST DU MEINE WUNDEN KÜSSEN won the Audience Award at Filmfest München 2022, celebrated its international premiere at the Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn and will be shown in cinemas from February 2023.
She has been teaching for years at the ifs in Cologne and at the dffb as a lecturer for directing.
