Ira Tondowski is an author, producer and director living in Havelland. She has been dedicated to developing and realising stories in film for more than 15 years. She studied screenwriting at the Filmakademie Baden Württemberg from 2002 to 2007. Ira is a co-partner of the production company Tondowski Films and together with Alex Tondowski produces national and international award-winning and highly acclaimed documentaries and feature films, including SONG FROM THE FOREST and BORN IN EVIN. Ira regularly works as a writer and director as well as a script consultant and lecturer at the International Film School Cologne (ifs). Ira is a winner of the German Film Award and a member of the German Film Academy.
