JAN HENDRIK LÜBBERS born and raised in Nordhorn, on the Dutch border, in 1999. After graduating from high school in 2016, through the love of basketball, worked for nine months as a volunteer coach in Accra (Ghana). Involved in other social projects on site, met exciting people and gained formative experiences. From an enthusiasm as a child for stories later discovered a passion for film and in 2017 took the courage to apply for a directing degree. Studied Directing at ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln from 2019 until 2023.
