LUIS FERNÁNDEZ ROTTLÄNDER, born and raised near Cologne, played the piano, trumpet, horn, drums, and guitar for many years. He discovered an interest in film at a young age and pursued it more and more intensively during his school years. During this time, he made numerous short films and music videos. After graduating from high school, he began training as a media designer for image and sound. He graduated with the best final film of his year. He then worked first as an editor and director of photography, then as a director at an advertising agency in Cologne. Studying at the ifs since 2025.
