Maria Hinterkoerner

Maria was born in foggy Linz on what was allegedly the foggiest Thursday witnessed by anyone, ever. After earning degrees in Literature, Celtic Studies, and Gender Studies, she went on to study Screenwriting at the University of New Orleans. During her time in L.A., she was Associate Producer on »Killing the Apologetic Girl« and »Terry Gilliam’s Hallucinaut«. Maria began her writing career on Austrian police procedurals such as »Vienna Crime Squad« and »Die Toten von Salzburg« and was story editor on Amazon Prime’s »Mandy and the Forces of Evil«. She is currently developing a YA crime series with WBITVP, as well as a video game adaptation with Black Forest Games. She’s repped by Berlin Associates and Echo Lake.
