MARIN SOKCEVIV was born in Offenburg in 2002 and grew up in Neuhausen a.d.F. near Stuttgart. He tried out numerous sports from an early age and is still an active handball player, snowboarder, and surfer today. At the same time, he developed a passion for drawing. After graduating from high school, he completed his federal voluntary service in a workshop for people with disabilities before spending a year at an art school in Stuttgart to put together a portfolio. His enthusiasm for animated films, which was sparked by his first visit to the cinema to see Cars, eventually led him to his own projects. He created his first animations after graduating from high school, using Blender. Studying at the ifs since 2025.
