Matthias Müsse

Born in the Rhineland, Matthias Müsse found his way to film as a teenager through his own Super 8 projects and continued his self-taught path as a production designer in Munich and later in Berlin in the early 1990s. He has worked closely with many directors, including Dennis Gansel, Philipp Stölzl, Philipp Kadelbach, Cyrill Boss and Philipp Stennert. He is always keen to explore new terrain, the most diverse eras and genres. As a lecturer, Matthias Müsse teaches at the ifs, the Filmakademie Ludwigsburg and the Film University Babelsberg. He is also on the board of the VSK professional association and a member of the German and European film academies.
