Mile Božičević

Mile Božičević was born and raised in Croatia. After a winding path that included nautical high school, various odd jobs, and writing and publishing short horror stories, Mile found his calling in television and film; first as a journalist and video editor, then as a screenwriter and director. He has worked in multiple writers’ rooms for daily TV shows on national broadcasters Nova TV and RTL Croatia as a staff writer and script editor and has also written and directed short films.
In 2023, he won the NEM Contest for Best Feature Film Pitch, for which he also received national funding from the Croatian Audiovisual Centre. He is currently a regular collaborator with Nova TV as a senior development editor and is participating in the Full Moon Creative Lab residency in Transylvania. He has several other TV and film projects in development.
