PHILIPP FINKLER, born in Sankt Wendel in 2000, played the keyboard, watched films, and wrote stories. Discovered a passion for visual writing and filmmaking during his school years. Internship at Saarländischer Rundfunk. After graduating from high school in Mainz, studied political science and film studies, worked part-time at ZDF and SWR as a cable assistant, and spent two years setting up, dismantling, and rebuilding television technology. Also co-wrote short films and completed his bachelor's degree in 2024. Then took a detour to the youth film camp. Studying at the ifs since 2025.
