Sabine de Mardt

Sabine de Mardt is the president and executive producer of Gaumont GmbH, the German subsidiary of the renowned French studio, Gaumont S.A.
Since starting her career in 1993, Sabine has overseen a wide range of critically acclaimed television and film productions. Her work has earned her numerous prestigious awards, including the Grimme Prize, Romy Award and German Comedy Prize. Before joining Gaumont, Sabine held key leadership roles at Warner Bros ITVP GmbH, including Director of Fiction and Film, and at Cologne Film GmbH, where she was Managing Director.
She co-developed and co-produced Germany’s first streaming series, »You Are Wanted« (Amazon), and continues to shape the landscape of digital storytelling. Her notable productions include the Netflix hit »Barbarians«; the bestselling adaptation »9 Tage wach« for ProSieben; the miniseries »Westwall« and »Was zählt« (AT) for ZDF; and the comedy series »Die Wespe« for Sky. Most recently, she collaborated with showrunner Annette Hess to produce the critically acclaimed miniseries »Deutsches Haus« for Disney+.
