SONJA CYRUS was born in Cologne in 1999 and raised as a Rhineland girl in Brühl, interested in film and television since early childhood and developed a fascination for outtakes and behind-the-scenes insights. Took any artistic courses in school and pursued hobbies like photography and crafting. After graduating school in 2018, completed an internship at the film production company CoinFilm in the production design/art department. As part of her studies, supervised many projects as a production designer, exterior and set prop designer, as well as interned in the art department of the NRW unit "Babylon Berlin IV". Thereby discovered the passion for working as an exterior prop designer. Since 2021 working in the television studios in the Cologne area as a technical assistant in the camera department. Successfully completed the bachelor's degree at the ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln in February 2023.
