Steven Kane

Steven Kane is a US-American showrunner, writer, and director with extensive experience leading high end, globally oriented series productions. After starting in independent film and theatre, he worked for major U.S. series including »The Closer«, »Alias«, »NCIS«, »Without a Trace«, »American Dad«, and »Curb Your Enthusiasm«.

Kane created and ran TNT’s worldwide hit »The Last Ship« and has since become a trusted steward of major international IP. He co created »Halo« for Paramount+, overseeing its large scale adaptation of the iconic franchise and spending more than two years in Hungary collaborating closely with European crews and production partners.

Most recently, he served as showrunner for Season 4 of Amazon’s »Jack Ryan«, another globally recognized IP. His work is defined by cinematic scale, cross border production expertise, and a storytelling approach that resonates across international markets. He is based in Los Angeles and holds both US and French citizenship.
