Teodora Markova

Teodora Markova has created and written some of the most successful series in Bulgaria, among which the internationally acclaimed »Under Cover« (2011-2016), nominated for best foreign series at Monte Carlo Television Festival and distributed in 187 territories, and the mini-series »Father’s Day« (2019), which was in the official selection of Série Series Fontainebleau and Venice International Film Festival – Gap Financing Market. She has written four feature films and has won the Best Screenplay Award at the Bulgarian National Festival Golden Rose for »Bubblegum« (2017). The latest project, co-created and co-written, by Teodora is the Latvian »Soviet Jeans« (2024), selected for Berlinale Series Market Selects and Series Mania International Panorama Competition.
