Thanussayan Karunakaran

Thanussayan Karunakaran was born and raised in Sri Lanka, though most people call him Thanu. He is a communication designer and an avid film enthusiast with aspirations of becoming a filmmaker. While he has worked on a few short films, he wouldn’t quite call himself a filmmaker just yet. Watching movies is something he could happily spend a lifetime doing! Currently, he is employed at a multimedia NGO, where he is passionate about translating socio-cultural perspectives into multimedia content. Additionally, he is a narrative researcher, having contributed to several projects focused on South Asian narrative structures.
