The suicide of the son of an influential man from Subotica—Serbia’s “capital of suicides”—doesn’t seem to be a complicated case for the police. No one except Sonja Kljun, a young detective sent from Belgrade to comfort her grief-stricken father, suspects that there’s more to it than meets the eye. Her stay in Subotica will turn Sonja’s life upside down, especially when she and her ten-year-old daughter begin having frightening dreams that occasionally come true. By accepting her unusual gift, Sonja will uncover not only the dangerous conspiracy behind the alleged suicide but also a deeply buried secret from her past.

The series won the Audience Award at the 2021 Cannes Series Festival. It was written by ifs alumni from the MA Serial Storytelling programme, Ljubica Luković and Matija Dragojević.
