Congrats! The nine participants of the fourth year of the MA Digital Narratives programme – led by Prof Lena Thiele and Prof Frédéric Dubois – presented their graduation projects in a final presentation yesterday in the ifs cinema and studio. From VR and AR experiences and 360° videos to games, interactive comics and installations, the freshly graduated ifs alumni revealed insights into new worlds and narrative forms. Nadja Radojevic (CEO of the ifs Internationale Filmschule Köln) welcomed the audience. Afterwards Prof Rebecca Rouse (Media Arts, Aesthetics, and Narration in the Division of Game Development, University of Skövde, Sweden) kicked things off with her keynote speech »Generous Realities: Creating Future Culture in Community« and encouraged the construction of fairer realities. The graduates then pitched their projects before the audience was able to visit the exhibition and experience all the projects first-hand.
